Company Christmas Cards ~ make your own Christmas cards for your business

Make your own Company Christmas cards and let your clients know that they are special. Christmas is the best time to show them how much you appreciate their business and support.

If time does not permit, then send homemade Christmas cards for very important clients only; yes, handpick those regular clients who are like old friends. I’m sure they will love receiving your own handmade Christmas greeting cards. Add a personal touch – handwrite a short ‘Thank You’ message. Let them know that you specially create these paper cards for them. For the rest of your customers, you can custom print paper Christmas cards or buy ready printed boxed Christmas cards from the stores.

My opinion : Never send them electronic Christmas cards.

I made these two company Christmas cards for my own company. Maybe these Merry Christmas cards will inspire you to create some of your own personalised Christmas cards for your business associates and clients.

The above ‘wishing you a Merry Christmas’ card is created using a Christmas rubber stamp by Penny Black and also a Christmas message from Hero Arts Clear Stamps. I used white card stocks for all my company Christmas cards this year.

It’s a very simple card that you can create quickly which is what you need to do if you want to mail them out on time for Christmas. I stamped the “twinkles” rubber stamp with the Watermark ink pad. This is a clear ink pad so you could only see a very faint image on the paper card. I sprinkled Christmas green color embossing powder on the branch image, shake off excess and then pour red tinsel embossing powder for the twinkles. Shake off excess powder and heat with a heat gun.

Using the clear stamp, I stamped the Christmas message with Watermark ink and heat embossed with the same green embossing powder. Repeat these for as many cards as I need for this holiday season.

Lastly when all the cards are done, I wet a water colour brush, dipped it in red watercolour and painted a strip of red colour along the bottom of all my Christmas greeting cards.

Now for the second design for the rest of my company Christmas cards, I chose clear stamps from Hero Arts.

I stamped the Christmas tree and the bird with dark green archival dye ink. I like using this ink because it does not bleed when wet.

For the Christmas greeting, I chose a red dye ink pad. No heat embossing is needed for this Christmas card design. I skipped the heat embossing part, since I need to spend time coloring the stamped images. After watercoloring the rubber stamped images, I use two of the colors used; green and yellow, for the top and bottom borders.

These are two card designs I used for my company Christmas cards this year. The designs are simple and all you need are a few Christmas theme rubber stamps, green and red inks and embossing powders, white card stocks, a brush and a box of water colors.

Try it! Make some and send out homemade business Christmas greetings to your clients this holiday season.
