Ink and Inkpads
Ink and inkpads are mainly used for rubber stamping and scrapbooking.
For beginner, you might just like to get the following colors:
A Tinted Embossing Inkpad
Black
Brown
Gold
Silver
and maybe Red and Blue
A VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad is another needed supply in your ink and inkpads list. With it you can create very cool looking watermarks on envelopes and cards.
I love the look of the stamped image created with a Brilliance Pigment Ink Pad. Colours I use often are the Pearlescent Sky Blue, Pearlescent Ice Blue, Pearlescent Orchid, Moonlight White, Pearlescent Purple, Pearlescent Orange, Pearlescent Coral, Pearlescent Beize, Mineral, Graphite Black and Rocket Red.
The Stazon Ink Pads are solvent inkpads and so will stain the rubber. You will need a stamp cleaner to clean your stamps. It’s best to rub the ink off the rubber with baby wipes first. Stazon can be used for every surface. I love to use it on plastic projects like stamping on CDs or shrink plastic.
You will also like to get a few colours of the Memories Acid Free Dye Ink and Ink Pads. These are made specially for Hero Arts Shadow Stamps. Colours range I recommend are Soft Vanilla, Soft Rose, Soft Lilac, and Soft Leaf. I have the Soft Silver and Soft Gold but do not use them because I just don’t like the finished look.
